NAKFest

NAKfest is the signature event of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. It is the annual family reunion of our brotherhood where Alumni and undergrads reconnect with old friends. Undergraduates gain motivation to pursue greater success in community service and campus participation. For initiates and new members it is often the event that opens their eyes to the power of NAK.

NAKfest is also a tradition that brings out the best of us in sports, and is a great way to aspire brotherhood amongst all our brothers from their distinctive chapters. Every year in April we all gather at a different chapter to participate in the sporting events to see who is the best chapter, as well as take the NAKFest trophy home.

Also, during NAKfest we take time to award our outstanding members and chapters for their commitment to excellence, and striving for continuous academic empowerment. The Beta Chapter earns awards every year. More Info…

Pledgefest

Pledgefest is a NAK national event, which is designed to solidify the relationships amongst our little brothers from all over California and Colorado. This event began at UC Santa Barbara (Zeta Chapter) in 1995 and has since been a crucial event in the development of our little brothers, on the path of becoming Nu Alpha Kappa Men. More Info…

NLDC

Emerging as leaders is what we strive in NAK. While NAK does not create leaders, for we all are, NAK refines our skills to emerge as great leaders of our chapters and to prepare us for the real world. One way to refine our leadership skills is our Annual NLDC (National Leadership Development Conference) workshops, where we prepare the newest members and active body of our chapters, on how we can run the chapter more effectively and continue striving to enrich our chapter and our fraternity as a whole. Tijuana Orphanages

The orphans in Tijuana are children with so little, which is why Nu Alpha Kappa decided to do something to make their day a little bit better. This past winter was one that brought joy to the hearts of many orphans and NAKs as well. A very successful clothing, toy and food drive enabled us to bring a truckload of food, clothes and toys to the children. Accompanied by several sorority representatives, we played ball, gave the kids piggy back rides and had a great time. For five hours, the children loved the attention, and we enjoyed their happiness just as much. More Info…
